This is a Sheaffer Snorkel fountain pen and pencil set that was made in the USA in the 1950s. The color is burgundy . It is in excellent condition and appears unused. The snorkel mechanism works smoothly. The nib is 14K gold, has a medium tip and it is a semi-flex. Needs to be serviced, it will need a new sac and seals. The pencil works. Good barrel imprint. Perfect trim. No cracks or scratches. I could not find any flaws on this pen. If you put ink in this pen, you can not return it. Sold as not working. It will be shipped in a box.
