Description

Vintage Zodiac - Mid Century Modern, Greek Inspired Goat / Ram Sculpture. Unique Zodiac sculpture from mid century artist. The main features are the distinctive eyes that use Greek sculpture relief technique to darken the eyes in shadow, and the spiral coat. This beautifully detailed piece is an off white casting of a Rams head. It has a felted bottom to resist scratching while on display. Has a few chips here and there ( mainly around the ear on one side) that add to the weathered look around the lips and the horns. This would be a great addition as a garden sculpture, in a study, or on a mantle piece. This has a classic look with many scrolling details, another copy of this sculpture has been sold for over $2,900 recently, and is on display at vintage collectors sites for more than that.
