Terra Cotta Bust of Beautiful Young Grecian Woman I believe this to be a depiction of the Greek poet Sappho. A fine terra cotta bust after the Italian sculptor, Emilio Fiaschi (1858 – 1941). This piece was created by Chapman Manufacturing Company and it is inscribed as such on the back of the base. Lovely bust of a young Grecian woman with her hair pulled back and wearing an ivy crown. It has hand-painted gold highlights. Is in excellent condition. No cracks or repairs. It is solid and quite heavy at over 16.5 pounds. Size: 15 inches wide x 8 inches deep x 15 inches tall.
