Let me know if you have any more questions thank you for looking. Pit to Pit - 23 inches Length - About 31 inches This capsule was inspired by the emergence of bootleg and novelty t-shirts that made rounds in the weeks and years following 9/11, that depicted Pro War / US Aggression graphic and slogans. Ranging from overly Nationalistic quotes, to satire and offensive xenophobic designs, this was reflective of the general cultural attitude in America. Amongst the populous there was a deep desire for revenge and retribution, and most Americans wanted war. The US government, in cooperation with major media outlets then coined the term "The Global War on Terror". This terminology was used in open-ended nature to justify various military action across the world, including the invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq, and intervention in Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
