Vintage cast bronze figurine of Atlas bearing the weight of the world on his shoulders. This desktop figurine consists of a two-toned bronze statue of Atlas, the ancient Greek Titan condemned to hold up the heavens for eternity. He's crouched on his knees struggling to hold up the heavens, represented here by a separate solid glass globe that fits on his shoulders between his arms. This glass globe is etched with the continents and can also be used as a separate paperweight if desired. The entire piece stands 6" tall by 5" wide by 4" deep. and weighs 3 lbs.
