Description

This is a heavy, antique, porcelain & ceramic statue/bust of the famous Greek David that is based on Italian artist Michelangelo’s famous statue from the early 1500’s where David is in a pose of contemplating. It is signed and dated by artist Austin Proding (1966). There are some minor chips in the piece (see pictures) but it’s still in great condition for its age. If desired, the chips can very easily be filled/fixed but we decided to leave the statue as-is and let the buyer decide whether or not to fix them or leave them. This statue/bust will be carefully packaged and can be shipped anywhere within Canada and the US with tracking. <<<--NOTE ON SHIPMENTS-->>> The default courier for our shipments is Canada Post (with tracking).
