You are bidding on a set of four AMT 1/24 scale Cam-Am race cars. This series of cars were all 1/24 th scale slot car body kits that were also made into curbside model cars by AMT. In each model there were slot car parts to convert the body to a slot car chassis. NOTE THAT THE SCALE LOOKS TO BE 1/25, YET AMT STATED THEY ARE 1/24. These cars were the Lola T-70, early Chaparral 2, McLaren-Elva and the Cooper Hussein. All four kits are described below: Lola T-70 is complete and also has the Chaparral decals with its Lola decals. This kit alone sells for over 100.00 dollars! Chaparral is complete except for one front lens and the decals for this kit is missing yet there a set of Chaparral decals on the Lola T-70 decal sheet McLaren-Elva is complete except for one front clear lens (however it does have two covered lenses enclosed). Also note the original decals have been replaced by a set of Fred Cady decals for the Nickey Chevrolet McLaren-Elva. A much better set of detailed decals. Included is an extra partial a set of chrome. Cooper Hussein has one complete model using lens’ covers and is without decals, plus an additional painted kit missing one lens and missing decals. There is a set of model kit wheels and tires and a set of resin tires from Norm Veber. Please email me with any additional questions. All boxes are old and in fair shape.
